Pilot plant for thermal treatments on metals

Modular laboratory oven consisting of a muffle furnace, a convection oven, a forced-air cooling table and two cooling tanks.
The Nabertherm N11/HR muffle furnace is able to reach a maximum temperature of 1280°C through two 5.5kW heating elements at a heating rate of up to 600°C/h. The inner chamber has a volume of about 11l and can process components up to about 15kg. It is equipped with a loading plate, a controlled atmosphere treatment cassette and a cementing cassette. These features make it suitable for hardening and annealing heat treatments.
The Nabertherm convection furnace NAT 15/65 I can reach a maximum temperature of 650°C with an electrical power of 3.3kW. It has an approx. 15l chamber that can process up to 15kg of material. It is also equipped with a gas system for inert or reaction gas. This type of furnace is mainly suitable for tempering or ageing treatments.
The cooling table enables forced air quenching of the heat-treated components by means of a fan with a capacity of 25m3/h.
The cooling tanks have a volume of about 60l and are suitable for holding water and oil.
The ovens are equipped with digital controllers for storing programmes and recording data acquired from thermocouples.

Pilot plant for electrodeposition

The plant consists of a series of tanks arranged in two rows.  The first row contains 4 tanks that are dedicated to: electrolytic degreasing, chemical degreasing, chemical decapping, galvanic deposition cell. the second row of tanks is used for rinsing. The plant is equipped with mechanical and ultrasonic agitation as well as a generator for both direct and pulsed current. With this plant, galvanic coatings of all kinds can be produced, from classic galvanic coatings (Ni, Cu, etc.), alloys and composites.
